Ascent Trip Report

The approach road (Sand Rock Ridge Rd) starts out well, but gets rocky on the steep sections. I'd recommend high-clearance, but 4WD was not needed.

This was a great hike- the road was easy to hike and while there were a few more ATVs than I would have preferred, the fall colors and crisp air made it very enjoyable. There is a use trail going from the road a good chunk of the way to the summit of Mine Camp Peak (where it peters out is fairly open and easy terrain).
