Ascent Trip ReportLittle Bear (21D)(6X), Delamar (21E)(5X),
Scheduled hike with Mars as co-leader. Joining us was Pat Vaughn, Suzy Herman, Dorothy Danziger, Garry McCoppin, George Christiansen and Jay Dolan (from San Diego). We did explorer routes on all three. Little Bear: parked at LBPARK and went up a ridge, just to right of peak. Delamar: Took Delamar Road to Polique Canyon Rd. then turned left on a spur road. Followed this road (4WD needed) to where it made a sharp left. Parked and headed straight for the peak. Initially went to the wrong rock pile. Arctic: Went as far as we could go with 4WD vehicles (just past APARK2 and park. Headed for the ridge just to the right of AP06. Had to pick our way through lots of bush and rock. Followed ridge to AP07 then to Arctic. Came back via the gully route.
