This was a private hike with George Christiansen, Pat Arredondo, and Winnette Butler. We took the tram up, XC through Tamarack Valley and up to the saddle between Jean and SJ Azimuth. We then route found our way to the summit of Jean. Found a register. Next did 10388. It was an easy climb of about 150’. From there, down and up to Marion. Climbed to the summit of Marion. Next was St. Ellen’s. It is a short distance from Marion. Another easy rock climb to the summit. It is named after a hiker who is active in the area. Next was Drury. After Drury climbed back up to the saddle before Jean then up a ridge to SJ Azimuth. It was an easy climb of about 100’. From there, we walked the short distance to the main trail. Took the trail to Wellman’s Divide (1.8 miles), to Round Valley (1 milte), to Long Vallley (2 miles). Last two hours were in the dark. Just made the last tram down.
