Ascent Trip ReportSlide is intense, even when dry - steep slab for quite a ways. First peak in what was supposed to be a 4 peak venture. Foliage visible from Coe slide; total whiteout above that. Snowed at one point, sleeted at another. Went up to Coe, then S Brother, then N Brother, where Mainiac finished his 67. Tried to go over to Fort, but running out of daylight, energy (Steve and I), and none of us could follow the herd path after less than a 1/4mi, despite assurances from others that it was easy. We also weren't dressed for the conditions on/past N Brother: 3-4 inches of snow, high winds, sleet. continuing on to Fort would have been a deathwish. at least next time i can just do N Brother to Fort and skip the Coe slide & the soggy part of the Marston tr.
