Ascent Trip ReportWOOOHOOOO!!! Saranac Lake 6er Challenge complete!!!! We did this challenge with our two boys and even with all the complaints on each one of our parts, I could not be more proud to have started and finished as a family! Now with that being said this mountain was not a fun one for me even though we took the shorter route! We started off the day with the most rude man at the gas pump a mile from our house and ended our ascent with the rude people on top of the mountain that just laid out sunning themselves.(we all made the trek up so be courteous and make room for others when space is limited, we want to enjoy the views as well)So anywhoo I will absolutely hike another mountain but not this one. I will however cherish every memory of this adventure that my family embarked upon. |
