Ascent Trip Report

Parked on the south side of the bridge on FR126/Bullion Canyon Road. The trails were well signed and easy to follow until shortly after the miner's cabin at 10,375'. I just kept hiking southwest/west and found another sign and post for trail 224. I did find a mostly intact trail on the way down in this area, but on the way up it was guess work because I missed it. Just keep heading uphill and it'll be fine with or without the trail.

There's some more open country before crossing South Fork of Pine Creek, then another piece of trail that helps with some of the final 1,000' of the ascent. That trail too peters out and it's more open country to the top. Check satellite imagery of these areas - you can find bits and pieces of trail within the last mile of the top. I followed the same trails back to the trailhead.
