Ascent Trip ReportI had planned to climb Capitol Peak this weekend, but I decided to play it safe. It was clear all day, but cold in the morning. There was a little snow on the ground, more is sure to come. Plenty of hikers on the trail, but not as crazy as a typical summer weeekend. The whole trip took about 4.5 hours, with a break of about 30 minutes on the summit. This was my 4th time on Bierstadt. |
