Ascent Trip ReportCMC Ararat training hike. Clear skies at the beginning and lots of people on the mountain. It was pretty windy above treeline, and it got a little chilly on the way back. Clouds started rolling in when we got to the summit, but we only got some light graupel when we got back to the cars. We did get a little spread out; some hikers were a bit slower than others, and we took a long break at treeline to let the others catch up on the way back down. It took nearly 8 hours total, but I felt better than my last time on The Q back in February. There's still plenty of snow up there, but it is manageable.
