Ascent Trip ReportDriven back at the col by fierce cold winds, strong enough to snatch my wife's glasses off her face (smashing a lens in the process) and to blow over my youngest child. Kirk Fell will have to wait another day. 24 hours later the Lakes was all warmth and sunshine! |
