Ascent of Borah Peak on 2014-08-31
|Date:||Sunday, August 31, 2014|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Motorized Transport to Trailhead:||Car|
| Elevation:||12662 ft / 3859 m|
Ascent Trip ReportI hiked an hour up the trail Saturday afternoon to an elevation of roughly 8,800 feet. I met many people headed down after successful summits, all of which stated the trail was in great shape.
That changed over night as a few inches of snow fell on the upper mountain, making the exposed areas of the climb a little slippery. All in all this was a great hike.
