Ascent Trip ReportRongai Route with Team Kilimanjaro. We were on the mountain from October 19 to the 25th. It started out clear on summit day, then we climbed into the clouds and the wind picked up. Then the clouds cleared away as we reached the crater rim and the sun came up. We reached the (old) summit sign around 8AM. I highly recommend the 7 day trek, there is more time for acclimatization. |
