Ascent Trip Report

Started walking just below the new berms in the old road, created when the land changed hands from the forest service to Pacificorp. (See Start Point lat/lon coordinates). I had been able to drive all the way up to what used to be FR8312 several years ago, but that's apparentlly no longer possible, and all roads I've investigated are now either gated or bermed. This starting point was the closest I could find. There were actually quite a few berms, the first few of which were made from the the deepest holes. There were also many trees felled over the old road until reaching the first junction showing on the maps, after which the road was great all the way to the summit.
