Ascent Trip Report

Started hike from the Grotto picnic area trailhead. Very early start, didn't encounter large crowds of people until descent. After Scouts Lookout, trail follows ridge line to summit of Angles Landing and is not suitable for children or those with a fear of heights. Outstanding views from summit both up and down Zion Canyon. Also a great place to watch for peregrine falcons that nest in the cliffs below.
