Ascent Trip ReportWe set off in high spirits looking forward to a good day in the mountains. The path was very busy with groups. We began to realise that we had not allowed enough time for this ascent and possibly were not fit enough. When we reached the turning point off the lake tour route at altitude 2250m. we took stock of the daylight remaining and intermittent cloud on the summit.
We decided the best plan was to complete the tour of the lakes. This proved to be an excellent circular walk away from the crowds. |
