Ascent Trip Report

The highest point in Virginia. There were some nice views along the way, but no view from the peak, as well as no clear mark you'd reached the peak. Overall this was an ok hike, but not one of my favorites. Quite a few people along the trail (I prefer to feel alone), and the ponies are far from wild. Probably a good hike for a family.
