Ascent Trip ReportI would not recommend leaving the trail where we did on the ascent. The trail continues east from where we left it, although I can't say how good or bad it might be. You might be able to go all the way to the junction east of the summit, or you could ascend where we descended, which was not all that great but better than our ascent route. The other possibility is to follow the ridge trail, assuming you can find it and it seems passable. I'm writing this five years after our ascent, and I don't remember if we saw that trail or not, but I'm thinking we didn't. If we had seen it on our descent I think we would have followed it, so apparently we didn't see it. Sorry for the fuzzy memory!
