Ascent Trip ReportThis was my Fourth Hike to this peak, the second via the Danby Four Corners Approach. The boys had already completed it but Julie and Jake wanted a hike and we felt this would be a nice romp for everyone. The weather was nice and Charlie found many salamanders on the way up. The flies increased in numbers and tenacity from the col where the Dorset Hollow Approach connects to the Danby Four Corners Approach to the peak. The register was soaked and I did not have a spare notebook as is habit, but the hike was enjoyable, the lower sections of the Four Corners Approach are overgrown, and the side trail to the West Peak is growing over to the point in a few seasons it will not be visible. But from the log landing up the main logging roads and trails are clear.
