Ascent Trip Report

Today was a good day I worked a double at work and couldn't fall asleep... so what better to do than go for a hike.... I went into Lincoln NH and decided to apply to alpine adventures, apparently they are hiring so I will start hounding them tomorrow. any who I decided to hike from the kink up Greeley pond, it is a 5.6 mile rt. I decided to take a leap and go for it. Its a 1.3 mile trip to the pond trail then its a steep 1.5 trail to the summit. From that junction its a steep incline to the top, the books show it at 5 hours RT I demolished it in 1 hr 54 mins. It was a good trail, good running trail into Greeley ponds, from then on its wicked strep, I wouldn't recommend dogs or young kids, its short yes, but steep I recommend go from the other side up. Great trail awesome pics and a great trail love to do it again soon.
