Ascent Trip Report

We climbed up the tote road next to the ski trails. Drive in to the Sugarloaf ski area and park near the hotel. Then, just go up. Very tough climb. It goes straight up. You can pick up a map which shows the ski trails and rates them by difficulty. It also applies to hiking. Beware though, the blue squares are just as tough as the black triangles! The view on the way down is more than spectacular because of the openness of the ski slopes.
