Ascent Trip Report

Sam and I have been looking at doing this peak since we moved here this summer. In 2010 I did the loop trail with my brother Kevin. So far this year we haven't hit anything too nasty yet, but we have ben working up to getting back in shape. Welch and dickey here in the white mountains have been our target for the last several weeks. Finally after about 2 months Sam and I decided to give it another shot. On this trip I wanted to take a new toy, the go pro its an awesome video camera that shoots a wide angle lenses both photo and video. I recently got the chest strap and filmed different parts of the trail. Trail summary: we walked up the main path to the falling waters trail to the top of little haystack then over to Lincoln, an unmarked peak and layette then back down the old bridle trail. This peak was an awesome peak with amazing views.... nothing more to say, 360 degree view. The bugs were awful, lots of Canadians, awesome day for climbing.
