Ascent Trip ReportMe, Ash, and Basil. 54 min ascent. 31 min descent. Drove past the sharp left turn on Beaver Brook Road, continuing straight on the road. Parked on a pull-off that was overgrown and next to a sign that read "Harvested in 1991". Rainy weather at first. Cleared up and turned into fog by the summit. Route starts off on a small cleared trail that moves southwest. Cross the small creek and bushwhack south up to the summit. Complete bushwhack up the north slope, traveling south toward the summit. Entire route was straight up. Extremely steep at times. Evidence of moose grazing halfway up the mountain and continuing to the summit. No view, but very foggy. Descent was almost the same route as the ascent. If lost, follow the dry creek bed down until it starts to flow, and it will take you exactly to the pull off, thus skipping the small cleared trail at the bottom.
