Ascent Trip Report

We drove up through Meadow Canyon and camped at the flat clearing about a mile north of Jefferson Summit. The next morning we drove north on the old road until it ended and turned into a hikers trail. From here it was an easy 6 mile roundtrip.

After the hike, our plan was to keep heading west through Meadow Canyon and exit onto NV 376 near Round Mountain but we ran into some hikers on the descent who said the road is totally unmaintained and overgrown with trees. We decided to exit the way we came, drive through Belmont and then head west through Manhattan to access NV 376 and go north with the intention of climbing Bunker Hill the next day.
