Ascent Trip Report

Hiked up from the trail head on Old Dinch rd. Most of Old Dinch is unpaved, but easily negotiable with a sedan. May require 4WD in winter or after rain storms.
Hike up is uneventful, some views through the trees in early spring. Stopped at a spring 1 mile up the mountain.
Views from the summit are great. Tower stairs are open year round, the actual platform on top only in the summer. Top landing offers 360 degree views. Summit offers a good place for a picnic, but offers no views.
