Ascent Trip Report

SMC MTN2 class trip up Tallac Creek drainage to summit over weekend. Parked cars on hiway and hiked through gated neighborhood to Tallac Ck, then followed drainaged south and SW to meadow at 7,000' for lunch, then ascended another 800 feet SSW to campsite. The next morning contoured northerly to entrance to bowl, ascended north entrance of bowl to ramp on second rock ledge, and followed ledge to bowl and cornices to summit plateau. The 10 minute snow shoe to summit at 1300. Descended same way, except downclimbed chute directly to bowl, and out.
