Ascent Trip ReportStarting at the Marriot Hotel in Burbank I ran to Villa Cabrini Park (2.9 miles after going to Shadyspring Ave and Shady Cove Dr). From there I ran till I reached the trail where I walked while looking out for rattle snakes. I did see a snake in the bushes but I'm not sure as to what kind of snake it was.I took in all the views and soaked in the suns rays till I reached the dirt road (Chandler Fire Road).
From here I started running again till I and went around the back side of the summit hoping to continue my run and avoid a steep pitch (the back side is less steep) and I continued my run till I reached the summit marker. I then ran down the steep section and the dirt road (Chandler Fire Road). The first person I saw was at the intersection and asked for directions back to the hotel. I took the (Chandler Fire Road) down till I reached a yellow gate on Edmore Pl, took two lefts and made it down Hollywood Way (2.5 miles of road back to the Hotel).
Estimated additional mile of trails each way.
