Ascent Trip Report

When I did this hike there was about 18" of snow on the trail for the first part and as I got closer to the top it got deeper and deeper. Along the trail someone use red paint to mark the High Point Trail as there are a couple area's with forks in the trail. It is easy to follow

The trail is not overly long, but with the snow it did take a while to make it to the top. The views were great from the top. There is a picnic table along with sign and mailbox at the top. You will also pass MD stone marker 3 on the way up.

Use this address for your GPS:

2433 Seneca Trail
Eglon, WV 26716

There is a sign that states "Maryland High Point" on Seneca Trail about 500 meters past the house at 2433 Seneca trail. You can part on both sides of the road once you see the sign and hike up.
