Ascent Trip Report

Hiked the Otokomi Lake Trail for nearly four miles, per the Climber's Guide to Glacier National Park recommendation, before realizing it was unnecessary to take the recommended route. Retraced our steps for approximately 1 mile, then left trail to the east. Bushwhacked and then scrambled uphill towards large cliff face, and traversed to the south to large, easily climbable couloir. Tiring scree slog over a few false summits to the top from there. Very windy!
