Ascent Trip ReportSkinned up Lichtenberg today (through Yodelin taking a right at the T junction, going to the end of the road, then following the clear track into the basin). Conditions are rather springy-the top 1000-1500 feet were excellent corn, after which we got into the trees and under the inversion and the snow turned to ice with lots of hard lumps. There was a dry flat rock to eat lunch on, warm temps, calm winds, and the views were to die for, the getting is good right now. |
