Ascent Trip Report

Recent snow ~12', 15 degrees, light wind, overcast. There are three ways to the summit - a sled trail, an old logging road trail and the way we went which was a combination of the old logging road to a bushwack to the tower, then down the sled trail for 200' to a bushwack for the rest of it. This was a tough bushwack due to the heavy snow (over a foot) and the significant amount of blow down in some areas and logging debris in others. The tower area is nice but the only views (in winter) are along various peek out spots during the hike. Should have been about 2.25 miles but we made it 2.5 and about 2 hours long with our route.
