Ascent Trip Report

The highest point of the West Bank and Gaza Strip (i.e. the likely highest point of a future "Palestine") is called Mount Nabi Yunis. The village of Halhul (very close to Hebron) is built on top of that mountain/hill. We located the highest point with the help of a couple of locals. Given that the highest point is actually on a road, we made our ascent more interesting by cycling all the way from the frontier between Israel and the West Bank on road 35.
