Ascent Trip ReportLight snow, well-packed, at base (1-2"). Summit had maybe 4". Icy in a few spots above spring. Fantastic day! Clear and cool, maybe in low teens at start, mid-twenties at end. Quick up-and-down with son Joshua. The 3:30ish time included exploring the spring area and discussion with trail keeper and her husband, summiting and exploring exterior of new visitor center (was not open) and going out to lookout rock prior to descending.

Update to weather: seems it was about 10F when we started and got no higher than high teens during the hike. |
