Ascent Trip Report

Fantastic weather for any time of the year and especially so for so late in the season. The great stone chute was not as difficult as I expected and the final pitch to the summit was an easy scramble over hard rock with good holds. Barely a class two and could have been done without using hand holds except for a little wind.

Distance was only 7 miles RT from the camping area at the shore. Total time a comfortable 5 hours RT and would have been four if I hadn't taken the time for over 200 pics!
