Ascent Trip ReportWebster Jackson Loop: Started from Highland Center on Saturday morning at about 11am and hiked along Webster-Jackson trail, stopping for view at Elephant Head, then followed the Webster branch of trail to Mt Webster, arriving just before 2pm. It started raining shortly after lunch. Continued along Webster Cliff Trail to Mt Jackson, arriving at about 3pm. Then followed the trail further towards Mizpah Spring Hut passing by Mt Jackson North Peak on the way. After a short rest at the hut, hiked down Mizpah cut-off, then Crawford path back to Highland Center around 4:30pm.
The view from Mt Webster was nice, but totally in the cloud at Mt. Jackson. |
