Rope not required for this peak by route detailed in "75 Oregon Scrambles" (class 3).

We down-climbed directly to lake from the summit and used my 7mmX55' hand line 'rappel' for added safety in two places. The route was interesting, but not really recommended. It added at least a half hour to the descent.
