Ascent Trip ReportFrom parking at Maverick Saddle bushwack & find faint trail through 'fireline cut' up south ridge. More visible trail on crest as the ridge steepens. Stay left at first rocky area & up steep terrain. Gain ridge again & at steep rocky step find path to right that goes up scree & easy rock to regain crest. Good views from here. Now is easy semi-wooded ridge to partly open top. Cairn with heavy metal plate & benchmark on summit. Ascent is short & mostly just steep hiking with some class 2, but requires some routefinding. |
