|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|

Ascent Trip ReportThe trail head is in a small camp ground, perfect to camp before an early start. There is a forest pass requirement, but they have day of permits available.
We left the cars in the morning around 9 in the rain. We passed the railroad grade camp and sandy camp, and continued to high camp, at 6700 ft, just before the glacier started. by the time we reached high camp the rain had stopped and the sun was trying to make an appearance.
We left camp at 2 am on 2 rope teams of 3. At around 8000 one of the team members needed to turn around, so I jumped on the other rope team while the other 2 members descended back to camp. We made it to the summit around 730, and headed back to camp, seeing all the crevasses and snowbridges passed on the way up! We made it back to camp around 1130 and left camp at noon, back to the cars at 3. 15.67 miles total.
