Ascent Trip Report

Hike 2 of the day (Dorset was first). Started late in the afternoon, so went light to hurry up and back down before dark.

16:45 - Parked along Stratton Arlington Rd at a trailhead. Thought this was the best (shortest) place to park. The trail starts out great, but 100' in there is a cabin, and past that it has been logged. Had a hard time following the trail, but eventually picked up a faint old trail headed in the right direction (lucky).
17:45 - Stratton summit, continue on to Stratton-North.
18:00 - Stratton North Summit. Took a few pictures and walked around (no one was there), then headed back.
18:13 - Back at Firetower / Stratton summit. Climbed the firetower and took a few pictures. (~5 mins)
18:18 - Depart summit
19:00 - Back at car (was able to follow trail a little better on the way down).
