Ascent Trip Report

Alexander and George were kind enough to endorse my Sierra Club membership application.

I believe this point is also referred to as Los Pinetos Peak and is the site of a former fire lookout, which I visited on my first Sierra Club hike. A Western Air Express flight crashed near here on January 12, 1937, killing famed international explorer Martin Johnson.
