Ascent Trip ReportWe had no troubles following the directions as given by others from I-5 to Anuktuvuk Saddle, which is a complex junction of multiple roads. From the northern end of the junction, stay left at the wooden signboard. In a few miles the road crosses over a saddle. (A fairly nice vault toilet is available here, just off the paved road on the right. Follow the sign.) After the saddle, the road steepens and becomes very curvy. Bolivar is the peak visible to the immediate north/north-west. As the road flattens out, look for the trailhead on the left. The trailhead is well marked and includes and informational sign about the peak's history. The trail to the summit was well maintained and leads to a nice view. From Bolivar we intended to head south toward Brandy Peak in Curry County. Our Google Maps directions were worthless as the signage on the roads did not match Google's road names. We ended up all the way back at I-5.
