Ascent Trip Report

We parked at address 9894 on County Road X. The people were friendly, and we met the black lab mentioned by Xander Carlson, whose name is Tarzan. They gave us permission to walk to the end of their field on the gravel road, but they had just seeded the field itself, and didn't want us walking on it. The man also told us about all of the drawbacks of living across the road from wind turbines. When we got in the largest contour, which definitely beats the other two, there were three areas of interest. The seeded field had a small ridge that looked to be higher than any natural ground in the east west tree area at the end of the fields, however, the trees had many piles of rocks and dirt, probably all man made, but definitely higher. I climbed a few of the dirt ones on the off chance that they were natural. Then we ventured west to the next field which was in alfalfa. This field appeared to be higher than the field ridge behind 9894. An overgrown fence line made it hard to sight over, but the high ground in that field was at N 44.67969 W 87.63639 (taken from acme mapper). This was another highpoint without a great amount of certainty. The owners thought we would be able to see Green Bay from the top (the water body), but we could not.
