Ascent Trip ReportA drive-up to a Tower.
From Hwy #2/exit 452, we drove north on Mountain Road for 1.5km to a right turn on Whitfield Trites Road. north .6km we turned right on TimberLine Road then east .7km to a private driveway (house #185) that leads 60 meters north to the single Communication tower on the ridge. Timberline Road is a beautiful road, just below/paralleling the mountain ridge, with new homes, outstanding views of the valley.
I walked the trail on the East-West wooded ridge looking for "the" HP, nothing obvious, chose a spot just north of the Tower 46.14694,-64.89645.
There are new roads with homes, both sides of the ridge line, not shown on the maps. Another example that the Google Maps are long outdated.
"A FALL IS AN UNPLANNED DESCENT."
