Ascent Trip Report

Described as one of the more challenging hikes in the Southern Adirondacks, a trek to the cliffs on Good Luck Mountain provides a great deal to see on a short, varied trail that includes relatively flat (ski-do trail) terrain, a steep (nearly 600 feet) final ascent, access to nearby lakes (particularly Good Luck Lake, just a few meters east of the trail), and a fascinating collection of cliff views, boulders, caves and striking views from the eastern summit.
