Ascent Trip ReportPatty the dogs and I got a slacker noon start from the Rachel Lake TH, not as many people on the trail as we had anticipated, took us a little over three hours to make the summit. We only saw one other couple heading up the ridge on our way down. A great ridge hike with amazing views the whole way, and a trail to the top to boot. Lots of false summits as advertised. Ava chased a couple goats over some sketchy terrain, didn't want to come back. About 6.5 hours car to car with a lunch break and time on the summit. |
