Ascent Trip ReportThe .94 mile roundtrip hike to the summit of Rocky Mountain is over a well-worn, rocky/root-strew trail. The 400+ feet of elevation gain is reasonably steep but the payoff at the open summit is expansive views of the surrounding countryside, including nearby Fourth Lake and the villages of Eagle Bay and Inlet.
