Ascent Trip ReportTrying to make the most of the weekend and on a Bulger binge this summer I met Patty, Noel and the dogs in Marblemount after doing the West Ridge of Forbidden. We drove to the Klipchuck campground after Washington Pass to get some sleep. Woke up at 5am and headed the short drive down into Mazama. Started walking up Robinson Creek Trail at 6:30am. Took us 3 hours to get to the tarn around 6700ft. We pumped water and ascended terrible scree to gain the ridge. Traversed the ridge up and over a bunch of sub summits, the dogs did fine on the exposed class 3 section with a little help, down was a little tricky. Made the summit at 12:30pm under perfect conditions and hung out for 45 minutes. Back to the cars at 5:30pm. Didn't see anyone all day. Then on to Mondo for dinner in Marblemount for the second night in a row.
