Ascent Trip Report

A non-standard route. Anji thought it would be a good idea to leave the trail and head straight up to a ridge line leading to Boundary. It seemed a good idea at the time! But plenty of rocky obstacles to be dealt with along the way. The traverse to Montgomery is not trivial, especially if one chooses the "wrong" way around them. Anji and I ended up on some narrow, exposed ledges at one point where we'd taken the east side around. The western sides of these obstacles were much better. (For more details, see the TR for Boundary Peak)
