Ascent Trip ReportSierra Club trip, led by me and Gary Schenk. Planned to be Twin Peaks (both) from Three Points, we ended up climbing Waterman from Cloudburst Summit (7018') directly up ridge on use-trail which gains 800' in about 1/2 mile. Noticed new-looking building in ski area. Met San Diego group on summit, who, of course, knew Terry Flood and others.
Descending Buckhorn trail, I waited at turnoff to Twin Peaks while Gary and Teresa Spohr (our only participant) went for TP. Due to the high temperature (by then about 90F), they turned back after reaching TP Saddle. We went down trail together; not too bad in occasional shade and back up highway to car.
