Ascent Trip Reportweather was supposed to get worse as the day went on, but got better over time instead. trail climbs steadily and is a good workout. ended up drinking all 3 liters of water I was carrying. beautiful rich woods, especially on the lower and mid slopes. Side trip to the pond is worthwhile too. Very hazy, but could see as far as Greylock and Stratton.
