Ascent Trip Report

Hiked Friday up Northgate Trailhead to the Marine Camp at 10,700. Left camp at 5 am and hiked across to the Whitney Glacier. Roped up and climbed the lower half of Whitney Glacier. When we arrived at the Shastina Saddle we took the Cascade Gulch West Face. One 30 foot rappel on the west face and we arrived at the base of the Red Hill. Joined the Misery Hill tour to the top. Went down the Hotlum/Bolum Ridge.
