Ascent Trip Report

Via the South West Gullies. A route is there if you look for it. start from the White river auto tour view point (2800ft) and follow the old road to its end. Angle right to the cliff face and start up the first major gully. generally work your way up, linking gullies as needed. Steep in places with areas of exposed traverses above and around cliff bands. Descent was via a long gully to the south of the ascent route until we were cliffed out at ~4500ft. We made a traverse slightly up then to the right for about 200 yards and came upon a down track of sorts. We followed this down and to the right, eventually crossing our up path below the face. This route is not really that great in my opinion and not recommended if wet. Running the ridge (or below it on the east side) from the old LO site is longer but much more straightforward.
